Excellent Post Dreaming firefly, I am pondering the same question in your last stanza. Hopefully they can be "felt, heart to heart"..somehow that connection without words..sigh as it should be..maybe one day?

Connection without words..
It's amazing how people can understand one another without words at times..
Is this what we call telepathy?..
Still, such understanding may not be flawless..
There is a limit to such understanding, from heart to heart, as no 1 person can understand another person fully..
There are bound to be little details overlooked..
In the first place, human beings can never be fully understood.. =)
Don't feel disheartened, Rhiannon.
What matters is still the attempt to understand people better, don't you think so?.. =)
